I believe if weapons/armors could deteriorate with use, that would create a real market for them, and more incentives for dungeon crawling or smithing apart from level-ups. This allows wealth to accumulate too fast for the PC. In vanilla, the moment you find/smith a powerful weapon/armor, you have no real incentive to meddle with other weapons/armors till you find a more powerful one, rendering most pickups simply loot to sell, or tempering practice. Reason: I think this would be a definitive solution to Skyrim's economy. In fact, my favorite places are interior dungeons only because there's a good amount of thought put into enemy patrols that you can, in theory, just kill the group off one-by-one. If a mod forces me to use more than just what I like to use (aka. I relegate myself to a weaponset because I like using it. Like just using a bow to thin the ranks first. Groups of enemies in melee combat are pretty much the one weakness that stealth builds have you'll have to figure out some tricks to get around that weakness.
